£7bn is spent on national gift cards each year and all of this money goes to large retailers, like Starbucks, TK Maxx and Amazon. By establishing a network of local businesses, in which our gift cards can be spent, we offer a genuine alternative to big retailer gift cards. We are giving people the option to spend their Christmas/birthday/staff reward gift money in small businesses, rather than big ones.
Our aim as a business is quite simple – take gift money away from big retailers and drive it in to independents. OPEN is giving local businesses access to national gift card spend. This will be additional revenue you don’t currently have. Also, our gift cards can simply run alongside any existing gift offering you have. Another thing worth pointing out, is that on average, people spend 35% more than the value of the gift card = bigger sales.
It’s free to register on our network, we send you a welcome pack with POS and cards and you can start accepting them right away. You don’t pay a penny until you’ve made sales. Our commission is 12%, which covers all bank transfer fees, marketing, print costs, use of our secure platform and VAT. Remember, it’s 12% of additional revenue and being on our network will bring new customers and additional sales. Finally, if it’s not working for you, just leave, no dramas!
